in the parish of the Vale, you will find our 15th century Farmhouse where the listed stable block has been converted into 4 charming de luxe, 4 star, holiday homes with ample off road parking.
A short walk will take you to 'The Bridge' our local shopping centre where you will find a french deli, supermarket, post office, a butcher, restaurants, pharmacy, bus stop, gift shop and banks.

Suitable for 2 adults.
Owls used to roost and perch on the old beams of what is now a charming split level holiday home.
On the ground Floor there is an open plan living and dining area with an oak finished kitchen, equipped with a built in cooker, fridge and microwave. The bathroom has a bath with shower, basin and toilet and there is an automatic washing machine in the cloakroom.
The first floor has a light and airy gallery double bedroom, with a pine floor, exposed beams and is reached by an open staircase.

swallow cottage
Suitable for 4 adults.
Swallows were regular visitors to the old barn which was renovated to provide the high standard of holiday homes which now take its place. The Swallows still roost in the eaves of the central area of the building and can be seen swooping in and out of their nests during the summer.
Swallow Cottage is a split level holiday home with a double and twin bedroom. The bedrooms and bathroom with bath and shower, basin and toilet are all accessed from the entrance hall on the ground floor. An open wooden staircase leads to the first floor open plan living area and kitchen with views over the gardens. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, automatic washing machine, microwave and built in electric cooker. Both the kitchen and the living area have pine floors, original exposed beams and granite walls.

Horses and cattle once lived and milked in what is now a beautiful holiday home with a double and single bedroom.
The single bedroom has a full sized single bed and a 2ft 6in bed suitable for a child under 10 (this smaller bed is stored under the other bed when it is not in use).
The open plan living and dining area has original exposed granite walls and the fully fitted kitchen has a built in cooker, microwave and fridge.
The hayloft
Suitable for 4 adults.
Climb the staircase to what was once a working Hayloft and you will now find a beautiful holiday home with a double and a twin bedroom (an additional sprung Z bed is available for an extra child under 10 years).
The spacious living and dining area has original exposed beams and granite walls and a fully equiped kitchen with cooker, fridge and microwave. There is a shower with a toilet and basin. The lofty ceilings, exposed beams and views of stunning sunsets give this home a unique charm.

We have recently enjoyed a 4 day stay in the Hayloft flat. The flat was a sensitively converted farm building, maintaining some of the lovely original features. The interior was very pleasantly decorated and furnished to a high standard. Very clean and warm[for a December visit] and provided everything a family of 4 would need for a self catering holiday. There is sufficient parking for all the accommodation and the garden and outside areas looked wonderful and would be very pleasant in the summer months. There was a generous welcome pack to greet us and the red wine went down very well!

The owl Studio was both compact and yet gave the impression of being very spacious, it had everything needed for a holiday home. The extras like the tumble drier [ never used] and the Spa Hot tub [used all the time], were the icing on the cake. The gardens were lovely as was our own eating out area. All in all 5 star from us.
